 9:30 a.m. Introduction to Film Makeup Requirements

  • Achieving "invisibility" and a natural look using techniques from visual and fine arts.
  • Protocol & colour combinations
  • Introduction to the "Florilèges" pigment collection from Maqpro
  • Knowledge of "corrector" palettes

12:30 p.m. Lunch

 1:30 p.m. Demonstration: Complexion Creation Using the Same Protocol

  • Achieving a "visual" absence of cosmetics and perfecting the complexion

2:30 p.m. Practice Session

Correctors & the Camera on Light Skin Tones

 9:30 a.m. Cameras & Lights

  • Understanding the electronic eye in comparison to the human eye.
  • Balancing proportions according to A. Dürer’s principles.
  • Correcting imperfections (spots, bags, dark circles, redness, scars) through colourimetric blending and subtle placements.
  • Rebalancing and harmonizing a face using thick and thin lines in relation to light, parallel lines, and trompe l’oeil techniques.
  • Restoring natural skin texture to “trick” the camera.
